Netflix’s The Dinosaurs, released on March 6, 2026, is one of those nature-docuseries that immediately grabs attention because it combines stunning CGI, Morgan Freeman’s narration, and a huge prehistoric timeline into something that feels both educational and cinematic. Executive-produced by Steven Spielberg and built around the rise and fall of dinosaurs across millions of years, the series clearly aims to make science feel epic and accessible for a wide audience.

What stands out most is the visual quality. Multiple reviewers have highlighted the lifelike CGI and dramatic presentation, and that seems to be the biggest strength of the series. It does not just present dinosaurs as museum subjects, but as living creatures in a harsh, changing world. At the same time, some critics noted that while the series is impressive to look at, parts of the storytelling can feel familiar or a little simplified for viewers who already know a lot about dinosaur history.

Overall, The Dinosaurs sounds like a strong watch, especially for viewers who enjoy science documentaries that are visually immersive and easy to follow. It may not be the deepest paleontology series ever made, but it seems to succeed at making dinosaurs feel exciting, dramatic, and emotionally engaging again. For me, that makes it worth recommending, especially if you want something recent, visually rich, and entertaining enough to hold attention from start to finish.
